Hello ATV Riders,
Well, we couldn’t have asked
for better weather on the day of the parade. There are so many
people I would like to thank; I’m not sure where to begin. I
would like to thank Silver Bay for inviting us into their
community, to all the volunteer’s that helped out before,
during, and after the parade, the sponsors, and to all the ATV
riders that came to help us break the record.
We didn’t quite get it done
but we came close; we were short 56, machines. Kentucky still
holds the record with 1,138 ATV’s; our count was 1,083. Even
though we didn’t break the record it was exciting to see so many
ATV’s in one spot. We have received numerous emails stating how
much fun everybody had and wondering if we are going to try and
break the record next year. When the ATV Parade committee meets
next month, I’m sure that it will be one of the items that will
be discussed. Please check back for updates. It was a lot of
work but we met a lot of nice people along the way.
We are working on making a
DVD of the parade and having them for sale. We hope to have
this done in the next couple of weeks.
Again, thank you for spending
the day with us.
